Narrative Readings

Upon reading this Article "How I learned to live Google free" by Joshua J. Romero. I realized that he explained his experiment clearly and kept the reader (me) very interested. When I started reading “How I learned to program computers" by Feross Aboukhadiejeh. I saw that he also spoke and gave detailed decryptions of his topic and kept me reading without losing me in his tech speak.

I noticed a theme once I completed the second reading that both of them were explaining their personal story on how they learned something new, how they taught themselves this lesson. Both Aboukhadiejeh, and Romero were dealing with technology which for some people is very tedious, they both completed their conquest at different levels. They set the tone right from the start of their detailed subjects. I can use both their well written stories to get an idea on how to sculpt and create my reading to the level of detail and reader understanding when I am writing my narrative paper..

  2. I was just reading through the blogs again and thought of a conversation we had in class. In the blog "How I Learned to Program Computers" at the beginning there is a question, how did you learn to program computers and his answer was building a lot of web-sites. I just noticed that. If we had not had that conversation I am sure it would have not caught my eye.
